Ligatne Underground Bunker is one of the most impressive secret Soviet-era constructions in Latvia. It was created as a strategic command center for the country’s top officials in case of a nuclear war. The bunker is located 9 meters underground, carefully hidden beneath the Ligatne Rehabilitation Center.

It preserves authentic rooms with original equipment and documents from the 1980s.
Visitors can explore communication centers, command rooms, and even a secret government hall.
The atmosphere of the bunker gives a realistic sense of Cold War tension and potential crisis scenarios.
During the tour, it is also possible to see the bunker’s kitchen, living quarters, and filtration systems.
